We Ride. Do You?

I need a 12" rear rim, 28 spoke for my klx that will lace up to a BBR rear disk hub.
Prefereably red, but I will take what I can get.
All of my searches seem to come up with stock which has more spokes.
BBR is out... They don't even have a ghey gold one.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Probably won't get pics tommorow, but I will get them as the series goes on and find a way to post them.

Yeah, I don't think it was your wheel that was the issue seeing as my BBR hub, BBR spokes and BBR rim were the same way. You had to force them into the nipples. As for them extending out I have to do that with damn near every wheel I build, especially after a few truing sessions.

Yeah its a bummer that the 10'' bikes are all but obsolete now. I was riding Shelby's BBR 50 a few nights ago at Milestone and was having a blast but I was worried about my legs the entire time. I'm only doing it because unless I started riding something that was a bit more stable I was going to throw in the towel with minis. I can't afford to keep breaking myself. You have a 14'' I hope, otherwise you will be mega ghey, lol.

Yah, when I bought my klx zokes they wouldn't swap out the 14 for a 12, so I bought a 12 and kept the 14 for a rainy day.
That rainy day is today... El O El
Not sure how well the 14" pirelli tire will work, and I didn't plan ahead so my rear 12 will be a starcross.
Should still be night and day traction wise going to the bigger wheels.
Hope to get it laced up tonight so I can sort out my gearing.
I'm thinking 2nd will be too tall now... Hopeing a tooth on the front will get me in the ballpark.

So you are going to build a midsized now brad?
If you're riding at all, your leg must be doing better.
How long till you're 100%?

The Pirelli will suck but you should be fine, like you said the wheel size will make up the difference. I know nothing of KLX gearing except certain people like 2nd versus 3rd gear. With my motor I'm likely going to be leaning towards 2nd.

Yea I'm building that 110 that I bought and its almost done, here are a few parts:

Chassis:
Marzocchi's
- New style
- KX 65 brakes
Stock frame pc'd white
Sano big bike style billet swingarm
Elka shock with remote res.
KX 65 rear wheel / brake setup

Motor:
Tak 138+R kit
Two Bros 55mm stroker crank
Tak 6 disc clutch
Tak cable clutch
All the other internal billet / heavy duty stuff

Then all the other typical high dollar crap I put on my bikes, lol. It should be a sweet ride, I'm stoked to get it done and get out there and moto it. I still have my 12/10'' spare wheel set from my BBR 50 so once I get more comfortable I'll get that all dialed in. I will only ride it like that for races more than likely.

My leg is doing a lot better. Its about 95% healed up, enough to ride at my own will but it still really sensitive, wrong moves and I pull off and go take a breather. I've been riding my 250F a ton lately getting back into it on that since its a bit more forgiving. Should be heading out to TX for the Mini Nationals in Sept if all goes to plan.

I still have my 10" bikes! Though, I do like to switch up to the 12" here and there. Stock though, just want a stock 110! No ghey Mod.

Come on shelbs... We need one more guy to complete the triangle... LOL
How are things going shelbs?
Glad things are going good brad.
Bike went together pretty smooth... Didn't have to grind the tips of the spokes down.
I was 16/37 and went to 15/37... I rode it around the block and it feels real similar to 16/37 with the smaller wheels... I thought it would feel underpowered with the bigger wheels.
When I first did my 12/10 set up I was so low geared that I started in 2nd and rode the track in 3rd.
I'm running in 2nd now, but the other way was better for starts cuz I could pull hard out of the gate in 2nd... Now I shift into 2nd about 15feet out of the gate.

After tonight I need to put a longer chain on so I can move my wheel back further.
It damn near rubs the A of the swinger.
Still gotta figure out how to center the 50 hub better... I don't notice any handling issues, but it is wearing on one side of the rear sprocket.
Gonna take it easy tonight... Different feel with the big wheels.

I got everything squared away, thanks for the offer!

Race went OK... I holeshotted and instantly pulled a 4 bike length lead... I must have been in a zone, cuz I was riding much faster than in practice... Clicking 3rd in 2 spots on the track... By lap 4 I had a straight away lead and put it on cruise control.
2nd moto I choked hard! I was watching the girls hand on the start (rubber Band start) and got a slow launch and was off balance... Hit nuetral in the first corner... Tried to play catch up but I was making lots of mistakes... Could have got up to 4th, but the guy kept skipping one of the obstacles so I couldn't get around him.
Trophy ceremony was a joke... Protests, trophy lady crying, poor scoring, etc. etc.
I am about done with this series.
They placed me 3rd when in reality I placed 4th, so I gave the guy my money... They still gave me points for 3rd.
What a mess!
12" is soooo stable and easy to ride... Almost takes the fun out of it.
