We Ride. Do You?

I need a 12" rear rim, 28 spoke for my klx that will lace up to a BBR rear disk hub.
Prefereably red, but I will take what I can get.
All of my searches seem to come up with stock which has more spokes.
BBR is out... They don't even have a ghey gold one.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I shot out a few emails this morning for you, I'll let you know what I come up with.

Thanks brad! I did more searching and it looks like a kx65 rear rim will work... I hope!
12x1.60 28 spoke.
I will head to the local shop at lunch and see if they can get me one.
I am just hoping the nipple hole and offset is the same as the BBR hub.
Race is a week from today and everyone is gonna race midsize (ghey) so I gotta get ready.
Bike won't idle and gas smells like shit... Probably sat for a good 6 months.

Hey Mike, are you putting this on your BBR CRF50 disc brake hub that is on your 110 now?

If so, you could just get a BBR 12'' CRF50 rim. XR50.com has them in stock.

Yes... BBR rear 50 hub on KLX.

Thanks, I found them on xr50.com... No contact# though... I hate ordering without talking to someone.
Do they even have a # to call? I couldn't find it.

Local dealer can get me a black excell... kx65 28 spoke... should be the same.
Would rather get a red BBR, but not if I can't call.

Here is their phone number: 951-296-3699

You will need the CRF 12'' BBR rim. All of his 110 rims are 36 hole.

Thanks for the help brad!

Don't order anything from Lisa at BBR... I sugest talking to someone who knows about pitbikes... After verifying my order TWICE... She still sent me spokes for a stock crf hub.
Guess I will race the ghey midsized class on a 10" bike tommorow.

I didn't even know there was a difference. I don't recall ever having an issue with spokes not working right.

Did BBR say they have two different kinds?

Call me stupid! Well kind of.
The spoke kit I have is labeled "Spoke set - HD Stock hub 12"/xr/crf... Blah blah"
There are 16 left, and 16 right... Which also threw me off since a stock hub is not 32 spoke.
So rather than start building my rim last night to find out the spokes won't work, I got pissed!
Just got off of the phone with someone else at BBR... He says they are the right spokes, and that they give you a couple extra spokes per side.
Makes sense, but they should tell you that or label the kit "stock OR BBR hub"
Yes?

Anyway, sorry for getting pissed lisa (from BBR)
all should be good.
We shall see how it goes once I start lacing tonight.
Thanks for your help brad!
If only I would keep a log book of notes rather than rely on my memory.

And thanks for xr50's # brad!
I ended up getting a black excell for less than the BBR, so I went that route.

Who is Rachelle Mc Clellan?
I saw her pic and asked to be her friend :) (.)(.)

Haha, re re. Well at least you got it figured out now and you should be good to go.

I never liked the way BBR spokes lace up though, just doesn't seem to ever be right but they hold up well so what the hell do I know.

No worries on XR50's number, but its a good thing to keep. They keep their # off their website to keep the calls down but I hate waiting for reply emails, lol. When I call I want the part, I'm not gonna say, "Okay, hopefully I have the money for that next week".

As for Rachelle, I'm not sure she is just a member her on the site, I don't know her personally.

I noticed the same thing lacing my 10" wheel... Granted, I made the mistake of buying a knock of rim, but the bends on the spokes were off slightly, and after trueing, The spoke threads extended past the nipples so I had to grind them down so they wouldn't puncture the tube.
The BBR rim should be good, but I'm sure its a china wheel.
I'm hoping the excell laces up smoothly.

I am officially GHEY now!
Its sad that everyone goes HOMO on midsized bikes and there are no straight guys riding 10".
I guess once you take it in the ass a few times, you start yearning for 2 more inches?
